"Collaborative programs with youth and animal organizations."
Kids4Animals Foundation engages youth to become animal-responsible members of society. Activities focus on collaborative programs with youth-related organizations to enhance opportunities for direct contact between youth and animals at such venues as animal shelters, zoological parks, veterinary offices. The Foundation promotes events at various community sites. Youth have the opportunity to engage with animals in the animal’s environment. Professionals supervise the interactions, and provide instructional components about the animal(s), including its biology, training, and companionship issues.
Positive outcomes include strengthening individual commitment to humane animal care through knowledge and personal experience.
